To use MS ScanDisk to check for errors
- 1. Select a partition.
2. Click Partition > MS ScanDisk.
3. Click Standard or Thorough.
The Thorough option scans the partition for bad sectors.
4. (optional) Select Automatically fix errors.
5. Click Start.
